lookin for happiness!

people could belong to different religious denomination, or schools of thought, could have different feelings, wishes and aspirations, yet they are apparently in total agreement about the pursuit of one goal in their life: that is happiness. This is fact for all people, belivers and non-believers,rulers and ruled, rich and poor, they all toil to achieve happiness.
According to 'Webster's third New International Dictionary', happiness is a state of well-being characterised by relative permanence, by dominantly agreeable motion ranging in value from more contentment to deep and intense joy in living and by natural desire for its continuation.
I repeatedly ask myself, what the sources of happiness?
when can some body acieve happiness? and how can somebody acieve it? please share this.

ENDANGERED MAHOGANY

On November 13, members of CITES, the international treaty
on trade in endangered species, voted to add mahogany to Appendix II. This vote
effectively means that trade of this highly valuable species will be from
sustainable sources and strictly managed forests.

This is a great victory for the Amazon and the people who depend on it.
Will that be enough to safe mahogany? or are there any other options?
plz get involved.

DISASTER

The bad news is that a ruptured tanker carrying 77,000 tons of fuel oil, almost
twice what the Exxon Valdez spilled, is sinking off the coast of Spain. The
full impact has yet to be seen, but it is clear that this is already a major
environmental disaster.

As long as we continue to rely on oil for energy there will be more devastating
oil spills and global warming will become catastrophic. The only solution is to
switch to clean renewable forms of energy like wind power and the clean green
fuels like hydrogen.

After dozens of spills like these (averaging more than one oil spill every two
weeks during the 1990s), what will it take for us to reduce our dependence on
oil?
